This workshop introduces two fraud security services of AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF) used to protect your applications running on AWS, including account takeover protection and account creation fraud protection. Hands-on experience is included. Benefits of including edge services into your architecture are improved performance, reliability, scalability, and security of your workloads.
The workshop focuses on using WAF to observe and control fraudulent activities occurring in your web application landscape. Examples of these activities are brute force login attempts, credential stuffing, and programmatic fraudulent account creation. After an introduction to the features, attendees will get hands-on experience.
Registration closes 3 hours prior to the event start. For additional information, visit this page.
This is an intermediate event designed for infrastructure administrators, developers, and architects who have a foundational level of the content and labs. Some prior AWS Web Application Firewall or cloud computing experience would be beneficial, but is not required for this session. For the best experience, we recommend the use of two monitors
